MOEEP Action is dedicated to building strong, inclusive communities by fostering diversity, equity, and accessibility. Through advocacy, empowerment, and collaboration, we strive for a more just society where every individual's unique contributions are celebrated and valued.

Building Community

The Missouri Equity Education Partnership (MOEEP) Action, as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, has several legal avenues and capabilities that it can engage in while adhering to its tax-exempt status.

Here are some of the activities that MOEEP Action can legally undertake:

  1. Advocacy for Social and Policy Change: MOEEP Action can actively engage in advocacy to promote social and policy changes related to its mission. This includes lobbying for legislative or regulatory reforms at the local, state, and federal levels.

  2. Public Awareness Campaigns: MOEEP Action can run public awareness campaigns to educate the public about issues pertaining to equity, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility, while advocating for specific policy changes.

  3. Voter Engagement and Mobilization: MOEEP Action can encourage voter registration, voter education, and get-out-the-vote efforts, with a focus on issues relevant to its mission and the candidates who support these issues.

  4. Supporting Candidates: MOEEP Action can endorse and support political candidates who align with its mission and goals. This support can include making financial contributions to their campaigns and engaging in other activities to promote their election.

  5. Coalition Building: MOEEP Action can collaborate with other organizations, including both nonprofits and political entities, to advance common goals and policy objectives.
